Every eco-conscious brand wants to protect their products during transport, while owning the responsibility to protect the environment. However, Unbubble founder Akash Singh encountered this problem in his previous startup, Energinee Innovations, which focused on converting temple waste into elegant handicrafts and gifting products. They were packing their products in thermocol and bubble wraps, so at some point he realized that they were doing sustainable business practices but to pack and protect their handicrafts they were using non-sustainable packaging. This was contradictory, so he started working on this problem and came across several dangerous facts about packaging plastic pollution and its negative impacts on our ecosystem. That’s when he started his second startup — UnBubble — where he’s serving completely plant-based, affordable and fully biodegradable protective packaging material that protects items both inside and out during transit. After the usage, the packaging fully dissolves in water. and disintegrates in a week leaving a positive impact on society and the environment.
